The Spinning Jenny was made in 1764 by James Hargreaves. This machine made more than one ball of yarn or thread at a time. It made it easier and faster to make cloth. This improved clothing and time of making each item, which means more work could be done and more money could be made.

The first sewing machine was invented by Elias Howe in 1844. The clothes could officially be made in factories rather than at home. This made a quicker process of making clothes and other sorts of cloth than handmade items.

Cotton Gin - 1794

The Cotton Gin was first invented in March 14th, 1794, by Eli Whitney. It was designed to remove the cotton from the seeds. The process involved a small screen with pulling hooks to force the cotton through the screen. This invention changes the world by not manually pulling the cotton apart.
