The vapor compression refrigeration was more of an idea at the time. The idea was a thought of Oliver Evans, and he described and designed what it would do and look like. It was mainly supposed to help keep cold food cold or stay edible. This is basically where refrigerators had started aside from ice rooms or railroad cars. This had a huge hit on all lives because now things could be fresh without immediately going to waste.

Revolver - 1836

The revolver was invented in 1836 by Samuel Colt. This made the frontier life far more and less dangerous. Colt knew exactly what he was doing when he made this, as he grew up with working in his fathers' factories. These factories influenced him to make things, so it was an inventors' paradise. Samuel is recognized as a booming seller and inventor for guns. The reasoning for these guns would be to make money, and also provide more for wars. These guns that were made were very important for the oncoming wars that would soon happen, and make Colt money quickly.

Grain Elevator - 1842

In 1842, Joseph Dart invented the grain elevator. This invention made farmers' lives easier, and more productive. It also encouraged grain growth in the East considering it was only popular in the midwest. The grain elevator was the next big thing for storage, loading, and unloading grain in the steam-powered contraption.

Typewriter - 1829

In 1829, W.A. Burt invented the typewriter. This allows a quick and easy way to write books to be written. The typewriter also made a huge impact for more writers to come into society, and it made more independent jobs for people. A lot of peoples' reactions to this big hit, were that it was constantly used at work and at home.

The Electric Lamp was invented in 1809 by Humphry Davy. This made it easier at night for people to read, do schoolwork, or do other night activities. Although this was made for people that actually had the money for it, it was the start of a fantastic idea.

Telegraph - 1844

The telegraph was invented in 1844 by Samuel Morse. This allowed messages to be sent by wire. It made communication quicker and also more accessible. The telegraph was quite the invention considering it made a new source of communication, speaking, and staying connected.

Idea of the Steam Engine - 1712

Thomas Newcomen invented the basic ideas of steam powered vehicles. He came up with the idea of the Steam Engine in 1712. His ideas of new transportation made it easier to travel quicker, and grew into even more ideas. Newcomen's ideas have influenced a lot of other inventors to make something efficient for the new society. But the idea of the steam engine took a turn in the beginning of the revolution making a lot of new and exciting things happen.
